Mail Bell
Decades ago, my brother hooked up some kind of bell type thing (that's the technical term) to the mailbox. It would ring whenever the mailman opened the mailbox. I thought it was such a cool "invention" that recently I made a little infomercial for it:
Alas, after I sent the video to my brother, he did some research and found that a product like this actually does exist now!

Shoulda patented it when we were little. I remember he would pretend to have a store and we would try to steal things. he would rig an alarm to catch us.
